Uncle Bob's Wedding

My brother Eric (a.k.a. "Uncle Bob") got married last week to his beautiful bride, Holly. It was a gorgeous wedding, and I am so glad that we were able to go out there and be with them. Minus Todd. Sorry about that, honey. The girls loved their flower girl dresses and spent most of the reception out on the dance floor showing off the wonderful spin radius on them. That was Ella's only request for the dresses. That they be 'spinny'. Even Molly would go out and spin on cue. We got to see a lot of friends and family, and the girls got to spend some time with my grandparents. I'm just glad that someone finally got Eric to tie the knot. :) Welcome to the family, Holly!

The girls had a great time at the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Ella informed that she was a "little bit scared of dinosaurs". But that didn't last for long.

Rub a dub dub, no more room in the tub.

Probably Ella's favorite part of the entire trip, the little 4-wheeler. It turns out it really is every bit as fun as I always thought it would be as a kid...

We spent one day at the pool. Molly spent most of the time on this little water slide. She was a little timid the first time, but was completely fearless from then on out. I do miss Utah summers!

Gotta love the cheek hanging out...

All tuckered out.

I was able to spend a few days while we were in Utah with some dear friends. We had such a good time. It was so fun to see them again. I wish we were closer, but since we can't be, I'm glad that we could spend this time together! We kept the kids busy all day then got them all to bed so that we could hang out and get our girl time. I love you guys! Ohio 2010 or bust!!

Fun in the Sun

We spent last Saturday at the beach with some friends from the ward. We all had a great time. Ella enjoyed the water, Molly preferred the sand. I just love being out in the sunshine!

OHIO STATE FAIR

Today we took the girls to the fair. I remember it being more fun when I was younger. We had a good time, but after a couple hours of jerky rides, cheap toys, greasy food and stinky animal barns we were done! Molly had no desire to get any closer to the animals then she was in the stroller. When I tried to unbuckle her to let her get out, she shook her head and grabbed the buckle from me so I couldn't undo it. She's no longer screaming in fear of animals though, so thats a good thing. Their favorite part was definitely the rides. Poor Molly could only go on two of them. She had a hard time sitting and watching her sister go on the other ones. After one funnelcake we decided to forgo fair food in favor of a sit down (airconditioned) restaurant. All in all it was a good day. At least the girls will sleep good tonight!

Problem solved

Little did she know what exactly she was helping with....

What'cha doing Dad?
Time for bed!

Wait a minute... something's wrong here. Couldn't I do this last night??

My sanity has been preserved for another night.. we discovered that the crib could actually be lowered a couple notches. So I think we are safe until she grows a couple of inches to make up for it!

HELP ME!!

This morning both of the girls came running into our bedroom and Ella announced that Molly got out of her bed all by herself. Thinking maybe it was a fluke I didn't think much of it until tonight, when I finally got them all settled into bed and myself settled comfortably on the couch. I heard a loud thump and next thing I knew both girls were laughing and running around downstairs. So I put them both back in bed and a then brought the camera up to try and catch the escape on video. She didn't disappoint. In fact, I have put her in there 6 times now, and as I type I hear the pitter patter of little feet running around upstairs. Help me! How do I keep her in her bed?? She is going to break her hip. Oh, and please ignore the messy room...
