OHIO STATE FAIR

Today we took the girls to the fair. I remember it being more fun when I was younger. We had a good time, but after a couple hours of jerky rides, cheap toys, greasy food and stinky animal barns we were done! Molly had no desire to get any closer to the animals then she was in the stroller. When I tried to unbuckle her to let her get out, she shook her head and grabbed the buckle from me so I couldn't undo it. She's no longer screaming in fear of animals though, so thats a good thing. Their favorite part was definitely the rides. Poor Molly could only go on two of them. She had a hard time sitting and watching her sister go on the other ones. After one funnelcake we decided to forgo fair food in favor of a sit down (airconditioned) restaurant. All in all it was a good day. At least the girls will sleep good tonight!

glad todd was able to get off and you could make that memory. it's pretty amazing how you can remembering something being when you were a kid, and you do it again when you're an adult and it's completely different. At least you now you made that same memory for your kids!
